I'm an Ethologist with a PhD in Behavioral Biology. I have 20 years of working experience in mouse behavioral phenotyping and published 27 scientific articles in international specialized journals. For the past 10 years I have been the supervisor of animal testing and welfare of the Animal Facility of the Unit of Behavioral Biology of the Dept of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Parma. I am responsible for animal management, environmental enrichment, supervising fixed-term personnel and students, and assisting in the research and animal training procedures with operant conditioning and positive reinforcement techniques.
