In 2022, I graduated from the University of Pavia with a degree in Neurobiology. In the same year I started my PhD in neuroscience at the University of Parma, particularly in the neuroanatomy laboratory (Prof. Giuseppe Luppino and Prof. Elena Borra) where we study cortico-cortical and cortico-subcortical connections in the macaque brain. In addition, I collaborate on an optogenetics project (Prof. Luca Bonini) aimed at optotagging inhibitory interneurons in the macaque premotor cortex.
